The Q-Scale, developed by Michael S., is a subjective/phenomenological measure of the depth and intensity of [wiki]Connection Events[/wiki] (CE), otherwise known as a connection experiences, mystical experiences, religious experiences, awakening experiences, peak experiences, pure consciousness events (PCEs), etc. As defined, connection events are temporary increases in the level of Consciousness in the body. Connection events occur as a natural consequence of walking an authentic spiritual path, with the assistance of [wiki]Connection Supplements[/wiki], or as the result of trauma, exhaustion, or egoic breakdown. Neurologically, a connection event occurs when, through the use of meditation techniques or [wiki]Connection Supplements[/wiki], the [wiki]Default Mode Network[/wiki] (a.k.a. [wiki]Bodily Ego[/wiki]) is suppressed. When the Default Mode Network (a.k.a. DMN) is suppressed, Consciousness enters the body, and the [wiki]Consciousness Quotient[/wiki] of the individual rises.
How to use
Use the Q-scale to measure specific connection events from your past that you remember, or a current connection event you are experiencing right now.
To use the scale,
- give the event a name (i.e. Dec 3. 2000 experience, My Childhood Connection with God), and briefly describe the experience using whatever words comes to mind.
- When you have named and described the experience, gauge the intensity on the two scale levers, from 30 (normal consciousness) to 100 (God Consciousness).
Since connection events can have both positive and negative feelings associated, there are two scales. The top scale (Zenith Scale) indicates the depth of positive feeling, while the bottom scale (Nadir Scale) indicates the depth of negative feelings. Move the scales until you are satisfied and then hit submit to record your experience.

- 31-50 Connection Consciousness: Connection with nature, Gaia, life, the universe, everything. Low range, one with nature, wholeness, love. The classic Peak Experience. High range, connection with true Self, enveloped by the love of God connected to God, connected to the universe.
- 51-71 Revelatory Consciousness: Sacred experiences, total understanding, revelation. Low range, understanding scripture, understanding one’s self and blockages, personal transformation, change of political/economic views. Intimations or revelations of past lives. High range, revelatory experiences where oceans of information is shared, understanding the foundation and essence of things, realization of personal purpose and a special mission. Visions of utopia/Golden Age.
- 71-81 Christ Consciousness: Visions of Godhead.
- 82+ God Consciousness. The experience of identity with God. Sexual union with God/Christ. Enveloped in Light. Low range, Tat Tvam Asi (तत्त्वमसि). Though are that. High range, more intense experiences of union, total submersion and identification. I am God.

- 51-70 Revelatory Consciousness: Revelations of truth and essence. Low Range, suddenly understanding scripture, suddenly understanding one’s self and blockages, personal transformation, change of political/economic views. Connection with your true Self, even if only brief. Intimations or revelations of past lives. High Range, revelatory experiences with frightening paranoia and feelings of terror. A predatory and punishing universe. Visions of hell and dystopia.
- 71-81 Christ Consciousness
- 86+ God Consciousness: The experience of identity with God, but with powerful overtones of unworthiness, shame, guilt, paranoia, and even hatred. Fearful realizations of cosmic truths. Damnation. Annihilation.
