Land Acknowledgement

We would like to acknowledge that we live and work on Indigenous land in Treaty 6 territory, the traditional meeting ground, gathering place, and traveling route of diverse Indigenous Peoples whose ancestors' footsteps have marked this territory for centuries.

This land is home to the nêhiyaw (Cree), Dene, Anishinaabe / Saulteaux, Nakota Sioux, and Niitsitapi / Blackfoot peoples, as well as the Métis homeland and a major community of Inuit peoples south of the 60th parallel.
